types of races
Bonny & Clyde: Race with one female and one male. No substitutions allowed.
You go, I go: One athlete must complete a full quadrant before switching.
Relay: Each athlete completes all 4 quadrants before the next athlete can go.
Lone Ranger: Individual race for one athlete.
Back and Forth: After each quadrant, athletes must go back to start.
Mirror: Two athletes need to work synchronized.
Pet Rock: One task must be done to be allowed to work in the quadrants (e.g. dead hang or hold)
Like a Team: Each member of the team has to do one element.
The Pyramid: Two elements that increase in difficulty.
Join the Party: In each quadrant, one athlete has to join to complete the elements.
Floor is Lava: Once the barbell leaves the ground, it cannot be dropped.
The Repeater: Two identical races run back to back, separated by 30 seconds.
AMWAP: Team accumulates as many successful lifts as possible.
The Ninja: bodyweight elements increasing in difficulty.
The Chipper: One element in each quadrant must be completed as fast as possible
Twin Chipper: Two players work simultaneously across two stations for each element.
